Tanushree was born on 19 March, 1984 in Jamshedpur, India and her nickname is Tanu. She hails from a conservative Bengali family.
Her dad, Tappan works for LIC. She was with Oracle Institute and her assignments included commercials, videos, ramp and print campaign.
She enrolled in a Pune boarding school for communications and became open to participate in 2002 and 2003 Miss India pageant.
In 2004 she bagged Miss India crown and consecutively the crowns for Miss Beautiful Smile and Miss Confidence.
Her career began in 2006 ‘Chocolate’ and continued in ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Risk, Dhol, Speed and 36 China Town’.
She is now shooting ‘Raqeeb’ and signed for many more. |
